Core Game Concept: The game (EN-VISIONED) begins with a family cheer surrounding you next to your hospital bed. You have finally woken up from your 6-year coma. (The character) suffers excellent memory loss and has no idea of the experiences they had as a child. the player soon realizes that looking at themselves in the mirror begins sucking them into the old experiences to prevent the coma.
The first image represents the cover of the game revolving around the powerful mirror that sucks the player to their childhood version to prevent a coma.
The second image/gif is my attempt at trying different color variations of my pixel imposter of how my character would look in a game. This could also be the animation used when the player begins to teleport when he uses the mirror to be his past self again.
The third image is a pixelated version of a mirror but instead, it is handheld hinting that the player could later unlock a way to teleport no matter where he is instead of only being able to teleport at home/spawn points.
The fourth and fifth images are physical media concepts of what the game En-Visioned would look like if it was on a PlayStation 3 console. The fifth image was me trying a different color variation to see if it gave off a different vibe and it did. The fifth image makes it seem like the present self of the player is the evil/wrong version of himself while the past childhood version is represented as blue the old good side of themselves.
6th image is my initial draft of what my character design is at present time.
7th image is my inspiration for the UI of my game with the source of the games being cartoon network.com
8th image is my attempt at a 3d model of a bathroom-like set up with a table and a mirror being stood upon it. Instead of using Maya for this part, I used what I felt most comfortable with which was sculptgl. I had fun learning how to turn basic shapes into my interpretation of what a mirror would look like in 3d form.
The 9th image is the 3d model animation of a character waving. I used Maya which took a while cause of the scary UI of the program so I watched some videos on the animation part and kind of followed along.
